+042: Book Post (yes, it's all pretty much young adult...that's where the yaoi is!) Fireus or The Fireus or some shit: Ok, I like those survival books where they explain in great detail how someone finds a new pair of shoes and a few cans of peas...yes, big fan of Cast Away, lol. It was ok, that batshit kid with the picture frame was awesome, but I'm not really interested now that they have to escape the crazy cult of grownups living on the beach. I HATE crazy cult books/movies. The Snow Garden: My friend just gave me this book so I had no chance but to read it. It was ok...but the main plot turned out to be some crazy cult! LAME...yes, even with the nice little gay student/professor scene. Traces series: OMG, its like Law and Order but with some sexy shota kid...imagine black Artemis Fowl, HELL YEAH. Each book is a new murder case, and the whole series is set in some shitty parallel universe were racism is flipped UPSIDE DOWN! (lol, brown power) I actually guessed one of the weapons like, 30 pages before Forensic Investigator, Luke Harding! It does try too hard to be funny, though, but I'm making up my own jokes, man. Sleeper Code/Agenda: Er...it's ok. It's about some kid who has narcolepsy and when he falls out turns into a relentless southern killing machine! The plot is pretty lame but the fight sequences are cool. The kid's chosen move is slapping his palms against your ears, popping your eardrums...awesome. Drawing Blood: I looove Poppy Z. Brite. Lost Souls was funny as hell, Exquisite Corpse was quite suspenseful and now, Drawing Blood. It as ok, but DAMN did I get a lot of sexy uke/uke action! I mean...wow. Plot you say? The plot was ok...imagine Cool World but with a dollop of gritty dark underworld and random drug use. But yeah...someone should make this into a yaoi manga, it would sell like hot cakes! Twilight: Can't do it...I rage too much. That Bella chick has GOT to be a dumbest person ever. It's something I probably would have read like, back in 2000. But not now...oh god. I'm picking up a few books thanks to /cm/. Good Omens and er...The Saga of Darren something. PET PEEVE: OMG WHEN I SEARCH CROCHET ON RAVELRY I HATE GETTING KNITTING RESULTS. We were starving...but then some guy was selling hot fresh pizzas for $5 and we felt better. :D Marcus' hat is finished, I want a picture of him in costume so bad! The Where's Waldo hat was a brilliant success. And also, GOD yarn is expensive! X_x They wanted $4 for something walmart had for $2 and what you can buy directly from the yarn MAKER for $3. wtf...retail is weird. So from now on I'll be buying my Caron Simply Soft from the internet and that Red Heart from walmart for random projects. Sooo...I've downloaded Soul Eater. It was a mistake; I wanted to download D. Gray man but I got the titles mixed up...hope its good. And One Outs have a sub group!!! YESSS, can't wait. Now they said there's no set schedule for releases (damn you triad for not picking it up, even though you guys had shitty scheduling too) but if they can't keep doing it, they would announce that they were dropping it. I'm so pepped about this anime! Argh, my boss is going to be out of town until next thursday...I'm going to be working constantly...oh well. I got to crochet for a WHOLE 30 MINUTES OMGLYKEWOW. Ok, it was helly chilly windy this morning so I couldn't crochet but when I got to the mall, I could. Ugh, I really have to finish Marcus' hat, that's the main thing. And I need to finish this red beanie because someone requested one in white and I want to finish it so I know what I'm doing!! And now I started this bag because I really need a new purse and I have all this yarn and random fabric hanging around... Also, I finally got to go to the carnival. I wanted to go Thursday but I didn't know if they were finished setting up and I really wanted to go to Michaels :D yaay yarn! I went after work, like 9:10pm which turned out to be good because it was cold and everyone was trying to pack as quickly as possible so I got some really good deals. I got this woman to knock down this bath set from $12 to 7!! Who knew I could bargain so well? And I got this necklace and earrings set and a bracelet for a dollar each! It's that shitty fake metal so I'll just break them down into other things, but I'm keeping the earrings...probably add a little black. And some red velvet cake--NO NUTS. I fucking hate nuts in mah cake. And when I get home, torrent heaven! The Back Horn, The Blue Hearts, and some Last Alliance all finished downloading! I gotta make some room in my mp3 player for the albums, even though I haven't listened to those Circa Survive ones yet...blast. And for some reason, my ipod isn't showing the notes I put on there. D: I swear, after ipod ebook creator turned into ebookhood, everything sucks in that department. I wonder if there is another site with software or something that does that? Just yesterday, I discovered that I haven't read any yaoi or browsed /cm/ for almost a month. This is big news for the echan; fandom has been my life for the past 7 years. WOW. That and the ongoing fragrance obsession (guess who's using Nina again!?) and work has eaten my fandom life away. The only thing I have been able to keep up with is Dexter which, OMG THE GREATEST SHOW ON TELEVISION. Every now and then I try to watch some anime and vidya games...sorry man, I haven't played you seriously in almost a year. WOW. Hell, I'm never going to finish the second trial in Ace Attorney. The only thing video game related that I did complete was the FRIGGIN CROCHETED DS CASE. I used to keep up with the games that came out, but now I have no idea what's out or not...how did this happen? At AWA I didn't even know half the cosplays...I was so confused. Maybe that's why I only took, like eight pics... And now I've discovered Etsy...I'm screwed. oh shit...the fan fiction!!!! well, nobody was going to read Sonic and Shadow 69ing anyway. His basic fanbase has known about him for like, over 4 years now. LOL Everyone's already bawling about this "oh my god Sufjan don't associate with these people!" Whatever, Sufjan is a big boy and I believe he has his priorities straight. I'm pretty sure MTV can't devour his pure, innocent, beautiful soul. Sufjan isn't going to be like the next My Chemical Romance or something. Hell, I believe MTV's main watchers heard this and went 'ewww grandpa's guitars'. Like fans of The Hills will actually like John Wayne Gacy Jr. So everyone that's pissed about the "wrong" people liking Sufjan can just calm down. He doesn't even stay in one genre for long, hell the only thing that kinda stays the same is the fucking banjo. That and the crazy lyrics, the only people I can see in the main stream that would like him are those emo kids. But emo kids, THERE'S NO SCREAMING. Only the quiet breathy tones of a music GOD. But enough about why he WON'T be mainstream, more about the pros involved if he does. The more popular he gets, the more likely he will go on tour again, meaning THERE'S A CHANCE HE'LL COME BACK TO ATLANTA. It's one of the biggest regrets of my life, not going to that concert. It would have been my first concert and if there is a chance that he is coming back, I will totally forget about Of Montreal this November. So, Sufjan, you get popular and famous and such. I'll still think of you as simply what you are; a human being with many brilliant stories to tell. post comment

And they kept telling about my other friends, from like, 2 years ago and I don't know anything about them because I don't care. GODS. Why can't they just leave me alone? Maybe if they didn't keep popping up at my job, making scenes, and somewhere random on the street I could try to give them a piece of my mind. Oh well, enough of that. I gots me a wireless router today, son. THAT MEANS NO MORE STEALING INTERNETS AND TORRENTS AT HIGH SPEEDS. Plus, now you can be on the internet on up to 4 ethernet connections so that means my sisters and my brother can shut the hell up and leave me alone--they have two computers now. Well, one's got a virus but that's their problem. And I can find out where they go...har har har. So...tomorrow, I finally call my High School and I fill out my college app online. I'm only going to AWA Saturday (I don't see why 20 year olds can't ride the train and bus by themselves, but whatever.) I'm kind of disappointed about not going Sunday, but oh well. Unless I go with people who don't act their shoe size, I'm not ever going to relax. >_>; Oooh! But I brought a new perfume today! It was a little expensive ($42) but it wasn't as expensive as Nina ($53) It's called Ice by Sakamichi and it's really light and nice to wear everyday. That was my main problem with Nina, it was so beautiful and special and such that you don't really want to wear it everyday, you want to cherish it. And also, because it's discontinued. I was looking at the other Nina Ricci perfume L'Air du Temps (idk if I spelled that right...) but the shop keeper only had the original bottle open to smell and not the remake (it smelled so...I don't want to said old lady, but REALLY mature lady...way to mature for me! So I smelled around...not much, the guy just had your popular scents around...I like looking for treasures, but...I was at work so I really didn't have time...;_; I researched it on the net and the same perfume was for $15...I feel kind of cheated but I would have never found the perfume otherwise, so at least I know I can get other bottles for cheap! (also, I don't trust the internet with big sums of money, or I would have had my own personal AWA dealer's room PARTY by now) So, right now I've been looking at perfume collections on youtube (a lot of main stream things I've already smelled and didn't like such as that Juicy Couture one...ugh, old flowers x_x) but I saw a few things I might be intrested in. Also, a lot of Filipino girls on there. I mean...wow. These girls love perfume! I'm just getting into perfumes, so I feel so lame...only 2. In fact...I'm thinking Sunday, I'm going to shop in Victoria's secret for the FIRST TIME because that was the place every single girl talked about in their drama-drenched videos. Hmm...still don't like makeup though. I don't even wear lip gloss! xD post comment

There's tons of us and we all can't possibly be at the same place at the same time. Personally, I'm tired of us all trying to be in this tight knit bunch, we should just meet up whenever. People have crazy schedules and stuff and everyone going on about having the final plan never stays around long enough to actually talk about the Final Plan. I don't want this to be so crazy like last year but due to the maximum amounts of friggin' weird I always meet at cons, it's always going to be crazy unless I go by myself. Also, if I say I can be somewhere, I can be there. Unlike the rest of you, I keep to my plans. Stop making things so difficult by thinking I, one simple person who matters naught, won't be there. You know how to get on the train, you know how to register, just do it! I'm starting to feel like this is a preschool field trip or something and it shouldn't feel like that. >_>;; Also, some things are just IMPOSSIBLE. Just go with it. post comment
